Lindsay was a true student athlete during both her High School and Coe College years carrying a 3.96 grade point average while participating in multiple sports. While in High School, Lindsay was a foursport athlete participating in cross country, basketball, tennis, and softball. She was a two-year starter on the basketball team, but excelled in tennis and softball. In tennis, Lindsay was part of the 1998 team which won conference and finished 5th in the State in team competition. Her junior year Lindsay qualified for Individual State in singles, being defeated by the eventual State Champion. She continued her tennis career at Coe where she played three years, being named All-Conference her junior year. Lindsay excelled as a pitcher for the softball team as well. In high school, Lindsay threw more than 39 shutouts, with 7 no hitters and 2 perfect games. She added 15 more shutouts at Coe and 3 no hitters. She was a member of all-conference and all-state teams her junior and senior seasons. During her high school and college career she pitched more than 1000 innings, amassing 124 wins against only 41 losses (75% winning percentage). Lindsay currently resides in Johnston, working as a CPA for KPMG (Peat Marwick).
