Chad Ahlers is a 1990 graduate who excelled in three sports – football, basketball, and baseball. In basketball, Chad was known as an excellent 3 point shooter on a team that finished 3rd in the State Basketball Tournament twice. He was a 2nd team All-Conference basketball player averaging 11 points a game and made 54 three-point goals for the year helping the Indians to a conference championship. In football, Chad was an All-Conference honorable mention receiver on a team that made it to the State Football playoffs. As a baseball player, Chad was a 2nd Team All-State 2nd baseball and 1st Team All-Conference player. He went on to a fine career at Simpson College in baseball, where he was a two time team captain, a three year starter with three NCAA post season appearances. Chad now teaches and coaches at Boyer Valley Schools in Dunlap.
