Having already traveled around the state and faced some of the best competition Iowa high school wrestling has to offer, the Indianola wrestling team knows the bar they will have to overcome if they want to be on the podium at Wells Fargo Arena later in 2022. The Indians competed at the Battle of Waterloo in their last match, and ended up matching up with the #1 team in all three classes after making the championship group, falling to #1 in class 1A Don Bosco, #2 in class 2A West Delaware, and #1 in class 3A Waverly-Shellrock. The Indians next hit the mats on January 6th at Carlisle.
