indianola-3

For the third week in a row the #3 Indianola football team takes their undefeated record to match up with a ranked top-10 opponent as Lewis Central makes the road trip from Council Bluffs. The Indians currently have the top ranked offense in class 4A, leading in all-purpose yards, touchdowns, passing, and Bennett Brueck leads in quarterback rating.

Indians head coach Eric Kluver tells KNIA Sports Lewis Central has one of the most talented teams in the state, and the Indians will need to be at the top of their game to win.

“We are going to have to play great defense. They have great team speed, they have a lot of length, one of their players is the top offensive/defensive lineman in the state so we are going to have to be able to control the line of scrimmage. Play great defense, continuje to score a bunch of points like our teams been able to do, continue to be good on special teams, and if we are able to do that then I like our chances.”

The game can be heard live on 94.3 KNIA, with Andrew Swadner and Rick Wilson on the play-by-play. Pregame coverage begins at 6:30pm, with kickoff scheduled for 7pm.
