The Indianola cross country squads head to Fort Dodge today, for a meet with 28 other schools and serving as one of the final tune up meets before the district competition. Girls head coach Kim Arndt tells KNIA sports with the squad returning nearly everyone from the varsity lineup, they are ahead of where they were in 2020.

“We are better, we are much better than we were last year. And I think it’s hard for the kids to believe it when I say it. Time wise, and where they are at, we as a team, as a whole team, are much better off than where we were last year.”

The girls begin at 4:25, with the boys running at 5:20.
